1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site, independent of all public offices. It does not store official criminal files, submit documents, retrieve records, or perform government background checks.

Its content routes readers to the Knox County Sheriff's Office, the county criminal courts, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation repository, the Tennessee Sex Offender Registry, and outside research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

You agree that you will not:

• Use the website in violation of federal, Tennessee, or local law
• Harass, stalk, intimidate, or threaten a person with information found here
• Use this content for a lending, employment, housing, or insurance decision
• Attempt unauthorized access to any account, system, or data
• Deploy bots, scrapers, or other automated collection tools against these pages
• Interfere with site performance or another visitor's access

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information obtained here or from a linked tool must not be used to stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or discriminate. Misuse may be criminal. Tennessee's Registration, Verification and Tracking Act, T.C.A. §§40-39-201 through 40-39-213, places special limits around Tennessee Sex Offender Registry data. Public safety awareness is the purpose, not vigilantism, blacklisting, or unlawful discrimination.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and create no credit report, background check, or consumer report. Our advertising partners and this website do not provide tools intended for applicant screening, rental decisions, insurance pricing, or credit judgments. You agree not to use site or linked-tool data to:

• Decide whether to hire or fire someone
• Screen potential renters or housing applicants
• Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
• Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
• Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

A check for a regulated purpose must be obtained from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation through an authorized process or from a screening provider that complies with the FCRA.
